<p> 本作为日版游戏软件开发公司Westone制作的原街机平台动作游戏，由《神奇男孩》的开发者西泽龙一所设计，1993年曾实施过正式稼动前的测试，但最后未能正式推出。在SLG的主推下，本作的复活企划于3年前正式启动。由于游戏源代码存在一些无法复原的部分，SLG便邀请原作音乐负责人坂本慎一，与上面提到的西泽龙一等Westone原团队成员参与开发。</p>
<p> 西泽龙一表示《发条水瓶座》是像素艺术家们倾尽心血与灵魂创造的2D美术风格作品，感谢所有为复活本作做出贡献的人。</p>
